Christian brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry as a Project Manager and Owner's Representative with him to Peregrine. He holds a successful record overseeing a wide range of commercial construction projects at various locations up and down the East Coast.
Christian has worked on many large scale projects including currently managing the Barrington Middle School and the Villages at Mount Hope Bay. Previous projects include, Massachusetts College of Art high rise residence in Boston, the luxury residence at Waterplace Towers and the Rising Sun Mills commercial fit-out, both located in Providence, Rhode Island. Other projects took him into NYC, New Haven CT and Baltimore MD. Christian is comfortable managing multiple team partners and working towards common project goals of scheduling and budget demands.
An artist at heart with a keen sense of design, Christian pulls from his interior design, sculpture and construction background to work with Architects, Owners and General Contractors to realize the project vision while staying within the bounds of budget and schedule. Highlights in the role of owner's representative include the Annie E. Casey Foundation's expansion to Charles Street in Baltimore, MD which won the Builders Congress Award. After that successful project, Christian was asked to continue his role as owner's rep for the Casey Family Services project in New Haven CT.
Christian graduated from The Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania and went onto Virginia Commonwealth University as a Fine Arts Major with a focus on Interior Design which shifted into Sculpture.
Rachael Bauman joined Peregrine Group in early 2015 as a Project Manager. Since joining the team, she has been an integral player on many of our current and past projects. Rachael works with a diverse array of our clients working on projects in healthcare, education and multifamily housing, and providing support to Peregrine's Partners and Senior Project Managers.
Prior to joining Peregrine Group, Rachael began working in the construction industry in 2007 as an administrator and assistant carpenter for Charles River Contracting, a high-end residential contractor in Medfield, MA.
After completing her studies at Boston University and pursuing graduate work at Bridgewater State University, Rachael returned to the construction industry working on Project Administration for Mill Creek Residential Trust, a national multi-family developer and contractor.
Abigail joined Peregrine in 2016 as a Project Manager. Since joining the team, she has been supporting multiple projects on and off site for the team. Abigail comes to us from CBRE/NE where she provided administrative and site support to projects within their Massachusetts portfolio.
Prior to working with CBRE/NE, she was an Urban Planning and Design Intern for City of Central Falls, where she proposed a Growth Center Amendment aimed at redeveloping the City's historic mill buildings and a set of Main Street Design Guidelines targeting the revitalization efforts of the City's dominant arteries.
She earned her degree in Urban Studies from Brown University with coursework including land use, the built environment, urban planning, architecture, and law.
Erik Andrutis joined Peregrine in 2010 as a project manager. With his ability to adapt to highly demanding situations, and strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills, Erik has managed projects throughout Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts. As a Regional Facilities Manager, Erik was responsible for a 12-person team of property managers and trade technicians overseeing 59 Properties including the 200,000 square foot American Locomotive Works in Providence, the 450 acre Centre of New England retail development and a combined 16-building medical facility portfolio located throughout Rhode Island.
Prior to joining the team at Peregrine, Erik held the position of Assistant Project Manager and Project Engineer at New England Construction Company in Rumford, Rhode Island. Here he worked on projects ranging from $1 million to $9 million with the majority of his time providing field coordination activities including submittals, RFIs, drawing logs, transmittals, and change requests. Erik also assisted in the company's procurement department in takeoffs and scoping potential subcontractors. Major projects included Home & Hospice in Providence, multiple ALDI Supermarkets, and the Lincoln School interior renovation in Providence
Erik earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He also attended the AGC Massachusetts Young Contractor's Professional Institute Program and is a LEED Accredited Professional. While with New England Construction Company, Erik received GOLD certification on Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island from USGBC, First Building in the city of Providence, Second in the State.
Mark Peters joined Peregrine Group in 2014 as a Project Manager. With over 20 years experience in the construction industry, he is a valuable part of the Peregrine team. Prior to Peregrine, he was a Regional Facilities Manager for Peregrine Property Management, Peregrine Group's sister company and Manager for O'Neill Properties where he oversaw the development of the Carnegie Abbey Club and Carnegie Tower located in Portsmouth, RI. Mark was responsible for overseeing the construction of multiple multimillion dollar homes and a 25 story high rise tower inside the gated community of Carnegie Abbey. In addition to being a project manager at this location, he also managed the facilities maintenance staff at the country club.
Currently Mark is working with the State of Rhode Island along with D.O.A and Capitol Projects, he is overseeing multiple historical renovation projects at the Pastore Complex in Cranston, RI.
